Qigong for Breast Health

During October, The Playful Soul will be offering 4 classes (no class on 10/16) in Qigong for Breast Health taught by LinDel Sandlin, an early stage breast cancer survivor. She will be sharing Qigong practices she learned in her own healing journey. These movements help guide Qi through the 3 major acupuncture meridians which run through the breast area - those of the Stomach, Liver and Kidney. According to Grandmaster Nan Lu, whose Wu Ming Meridian Therapy Qigong you’ll learn: "If Qi flows freely through these meridians, preventative actions and recovery efforts will be magnified."

Qigong, an energy practice developed in China 5,000 years ago for health and longevity, combines breathing techniques, mental focus and simple physical movements or postures. Similar to Tai Chi, it offers many of the same benefits: improves physical, mental and emotional balance, promotes relaxation and better sleep, eases anxiety and internal stress and increases vitality.

This Qigong for Breast Health class is appropriate for women aged 14-104. The movements and postures can also be done seated.
